A Physician Who Cares
Dr. Ellie is a retired USAF Major with experience with traumatic brain injuries and post traumatic stress. Eden Psychiatry, located in the Denver area, is a place where you will be heard and validated, not judged. You will have an individualized, custom recovery plan that's right for you. You will be educated on the most effective ways to take care of your mind, body, and soul so that you can experience restoration and live life to its fullest. Medications will be prescribed only when necessary, in order to remove barriers keeping you from an abundant life.

Trauma can either be used as a catalyst for growth, sparking empathy and a closer relationship with God, or as fuel for shame, avoidance, and isolation. Many veterans and first responders know firsthand the toll that trauma can take but lack the knowledge of how to grow from it and move forward. In Unshackled, Dr. Elizabeth Stevens uses her unique perspective as both a trauma survivor and a professional psychiatrist to help veterans and first responders, as well as others who have experienced trauma, learn how to grow and heal from their traumatic experiences so that they can experience the abundant life God has for them

Faith-Based Peer Support for Veterans and First Responders
Geared towards veterans, first responders, and their families, our partner non-profit, Advancing Warriors International provides faith-based, peer-led support groups to address the spiritual, mental, and emotional dimensions of wellness.
